Do you Care to be Scared?

It’s that time of year again when ghosts and ghouls come out to play with monkeys dressed up to scare the living daylights out of you.

Check out Jimmy in his Wizard costume, Scruffy with his werewolf fangs and Bobo looking scary as always in his skull mask.

Lots of decorations this year turned the Monkeys’ pad into a haunted mansion complete with skeletons.  Beware!

Willy Shakespeare

The Travelling Monkeys head to Shakespeare Country, which is Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. William Shakespeare was an English poet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language. He wrote lots of poems and plays and is famous worldwide. Tourists flock from all over the world to visit his home town.

Willy and Rudi spend the day dressed as “The Bard” (as Shakepeare is also known) in his honour.

They spy one of his cats in the garden of his house and check out some of the other properties associated with him, including Anne Hathaway’s cottage. Anne was Shakespeare’s wife.

Willy & Rudi also stop outside the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (home of the Royal Shakespeare Company or RSC) where plays are still being put on to this day. See more at www.rsc.org.uk

Afterwards, Willy and Rudi change into their Country Gent outfits to visit one of the National Trust residences nearby, Baddesley Clinton to take a look at how people used to live years ago. Find out more at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/baddesley-clinton
